Will your website be useful for me?
Since you've found yourself here, it is safe to assume that you've probably already read a lot of self-improvement articles. Do you need any more? Well, sometimes, just a little extra piece is enough to resolve a complex puzzle.
Our goal is to provide you with the ideas and inspiration that’ll help you accomplish your goals more easily and efficiently.
Who the hell are you and why should I listen to you?
I’m Igor (the one of the left), and I’m the founder of this website.
The typical ‘About us’ section of such websites is filled with stuff like:
· I’m a public speaker, listener, watcher etc…
· I hold all kinds of certificates, and have even won a Modesty Contest!
· I’m the chairman of the ‘Greatest Company’ and the president of the Moon.
I do not want to bore you with such a list. Instead, check out a few articles from the website and decide for yourself if it resonates with you.
What’s wrong with you man? Do you think you are the smartest guy or what?
Of course not. Otherwise you would’ve known me from CNN news.
Since I was a teen, I have had a keen interest in ‘personal development.’ It has truly helped me turn my life around (hopefully for the better).
I study daily, and I consider myself a learner, not a teacher. At the same time, if something has worked for me, I’m glad to share it with you too.
If it suites you – great.
If you know a better idea – please, share the same. I am sure that all the readers and myself would also love to learn from you.
Do you have a degree in psychology?
I have a Master’s degree in Psychology from ‘Sevastopol Municipal Humanitarian University’. It’s a provincial university though, nothing too prestigious.
Don’t slip away. Tell me more about you.
I’m Igor Smirnov. Turned 30 this year (2017). I’m married and currently reside in Krasnodar (Russia).
I was a weird kid. When I was 6, my father introduced chess (it’s a board game) to me. I got obsessed with that. When normal kids were playing on the backyard, I was studying books.
This paid off; I became International Master of chess at the age of 13.
While taking part in chess tournaments I traveled a lot. This aroused my interest in travelling. I love to visit different countries, meet new friends and study various cultures.
Later on, I studied Psychology in the university. It was an easy choice for me. Chess is a brain battle, and it revolves around human psychology.
At 20 I became chess Grandmaster, which is the highest title in chess. Then I turned to chess coaching. I coached online and offline for 10 years. Surprisingly, I realized that helping others made me feel good.
At the age of 30, I’ve decided to turn my all-time passion – personal development – into my full-time job.
Various ‘life coaches’ are all around. Why should I read your stuff?
Through my experience in chess, Psychology and coaching, I have learnt a lot of powerful yet not commonly known ideas.
In addition to the common English sources, I have studied a lot of Russian authors as well. Most of them were bad, but some were brilliant.
TO SUM THINGS UP
I’m on the journey of changing myself and my life for the better. If it resonates with you, let’s do it together!
If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
